My name is Elva Chen, also known as Hung-Hua Chen, and I hail from Taiwan. Allow me to share a bit about myself and my journey of music.
Musical Style and Influences
From a young age, I found myself captivated by the enchanting worlds of Disney films and Japanese anime. Consequently, my love for the music and scores associated with Japanese anime and Disney productions knows no bounds. However, as I progress through my university studies, I have embarked on a quest to explore the vast spectrum of musical styles and compositions. With an open mind and a penchant for experimentation, I have delved into various genres, as showcased in the collection on my "Work" page.
Future Aspirations
Looking ahead, my ultimate aspiration is to collaborate with numerous directors. Ever since my collaboration with the director of TallWall, I have become addicted to the exhilarating process of crafting a cohesive artistic creation together. I find immense joy and fulfillment in this collaborative journey. It is my sincere hope that I will have the opportunity to contribute my music to a myriad of film and television projects in the future.

Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring
I have been studying Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring at Musician Institute since October 2022, and I am still actively learning.
2022...Now
Collaborated with a performer on a solo recital.
I collaborated with a violin major student from National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan. I composed a duet piece for violin and piano, performed by Min-Ling Wang at her solo recital.

Advanced studies
During my high school years, I undertook a year of advanced studies at Maximum Music Studio, located in Taiwan.

I studied composition at Hua Gang Art School during high school, where I wrote and performed my own musical theater production for the semester showcase.

I joined the Chinese Traditional orchestra and started to learn Daruan in junior high.
